1. Design
1.1 Material
The sectional panel tank shall consist of 4' x 4' or 1 meter x 1 meter panel manufactured from 0.8mm thick stainless steel grade 304/316 plate with a 5mm thick welding bonded backing mild steel plate (British Standard BS: 1564:1975) The internal surface shall be stainless steel combined with external surface of mild steel plate.
1.2 Flanges
The sectional panels shall be pressed to double flanges at the angles of 45 degree and 90 degree to the face of the plate on four sides.
1.3 Reinforcement Method
The stainless steel lined sectional tank shall be constructed using external reinforcement system. In assembly the tank, the flanges of the panels are strengthened by galvanised reinforced channel and roof stay bolt.
The roof panels are supported by top panel support, which shall be made from stainless steel angle andchannel. The tank is designed to rest and supported on reinforced concrete floor.
1.4 Manufacture
The composite panel consist of stainless steel plate and ,ild steel plate, which shall be produced in one piece by moulding process that can provide an impermeable and corrosion resistant characteristic.
2. Accessories
2.1 Bolt. nut & washers
i) Stainless steel 304/316 material shall be used where in contact with water.
ii) AHot-Dipped galvanised mild steel material shall be externally of the tank.
2.2 Sealing material
Non-toxic P.V.C foam tape shall be used in between the joints.
2.3 Covers
The tank cover shall be constructed by 1.2mm thick stainless steel grade 304/316 or 0.8mm stainless steel 304/316 composite with 1.5mm thick of mild steel plate 4' x 4' or 1m x 1m.
2.4 Ladders and Level Indicator
Internal & external ladder shall be made of stainless steel grade 316/304 and aluminium material respectively . Level indicator shall be hot-dipped galvanised c/w P.V.C ball float. |
